A family day out on Bridgnorth's Severn Park set in the beautiful Severn Valley

THE BEGINNING:

The Rally in the Valley began in 2008 as the public launch of the Trevithick Replica Engine CATCH ME WHO CAN, being built in Bridgnorth by the Trevithick 200 Charity to celebrate the bi-centenary of the original engine being built in Bridgnorth at Hazledines Foundry in 1808.

THE VENUE:

Our location between the River Severn and the A442 Telford to Kidderminster Road (100 yards north of the Bandon Arms traffic island) is only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bridgnorth (especially if you use the amazing vernicular railway!) makes this a superb picturesque venue.

The level playing field showground gives good movement for both pedestrians and vehicles. Ample hard standing is available for low loaders. Easy access from the main road via a tarmac road which runs along the length of the riverbank. Parking for over 1000 cars on site plus over 250 camping pitches adjacent to the showground.

THE PRESENT:

In 2010 the rally was taken over by a new committee made up of a group of volunteer enthusiasts who came together to ensure the future of this popular event.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us last year and look forward to working with you again in 2012 - IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PART OF THE 2012 TEAM - PLEASE CONTACT US                      You will be made very welcome!
